Ending hunger in Reno County isn’t a job for one church or one organization. It takes a group, a group of friends who believe that together we make a difference. For the second year there will be a countywide Thanksgiving food drive. “We’ll Leave Our Lights On”. Sanctuary lights will shine in 15 area churches while collecting donations of non-perishable foods. Food Bank of Reno County suggests these items:

Pasta, Peanut butter, Mac & Cheese, Cereal, Canned meats, Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruits, Canned soups

On Wednesday, November 20th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM food donations may be brought to Park Place. Thank you for joining us as we offer “sufficiency with dignity” to those in need.
