Annual Meeting and Dinner
Mark your calendars for a very special Sunday on November 23. Sunday school will be at 9:30 a.m. and there will be one service at 10:30 a.m. The annual meeting will be held immediately after service. The Thanksgiving dinner will start following the meeting at about 12:15 p.m. Turkey, rolls, and pies will be provided. Everyone is asked to bring two side dishes and table service.
Fifth Sunday Advent Fellowship
On November 30, during the Sunday School hour (10:10 a.m.), everyone is invited to join together for fellowship and to decorate the family Christmas tree. The tree will be set up in the narthex again this year. We will be hanging ornaments donated last year as well as new ornaments for this year. If your family would like to donate an ornament for the "Family Christmas Tree," labels will be provided for you to write your name on so a living history will be established. These ornaments will then be stored and hung again in years to come.
Christmas Decorating
The hanging of the greens will be on Sunday, November 30. Before decorating begins, there will be a soup supper at 5:30 p.m. Please bring finger foods or dessert to share. There will be a voluntary cookie exchange again this year. Everyone is asked to bring three dozen cookies. You will be able to exchange two dozen to take home; one dozen will be donated to our brothers and sisters at Washington Heights.
